Settling in: what the first two weeks look like

Short visits, a key person, and no rush. Here is how we help new children feel at home.

Starting nursery is a big change, for children and for parents. We never rush it.

In the first week you stay with your child for short visits while their key person gets to know you both. In the second week the visits get longer and you start to leave for short stretches.

Every child is different, so we adjust the plan as we go. We will message you during the day so you are never left wondering.
